When John
Springate and Gerry Shephard get together they never fail to compose 'classic'
songs,
during
the 1970's when they were the front men of hit pop band 'The Glitter Band',
the two wrote
countless
hit records between them and were responsible for the Band's lasting longevity
in the pop world.
Today
John Springate is a well respected figure in the world of Hi-Energy disco
music, he has worked with
countless
top band's and written and produced numerous tracks, along with several
of his own solo projects.
John is
no stranger to Eurovision, being a finalist in the 1990 U.K. finals with
'Kelly'
Gerry
Shephard, has worked with some leading pop acts and when not composing
songs he still finds
time to
go out on the road with the original 'Glitter Band', when John suggested
that they get together
to write
songs for the first time in nearly 14 years, the result was phenomenal!!.
